Glock 20 Lb Recoil Spring - I wasn't too keen on adding an aftermarket guide bar, but after watching my better half in a row with her Glock 17, I thought it would be worth it. I ordered her a SS guide with a 17lb spring. My girlfriend likes the way the gun spins, and while the weight difference isn't as great as a tungsten guide, it did help with recoil and easier aiming. This was my first order with the metal needle extended control kit. Shipping was fast and they had great communication throughout the process.
Nice construction, well done and almost installed. At first there were problems with spring compression. With a little force I was able to free the washer. I noticed some loctite on the guide along the bottom of the screw. He gripped the washer, preventing it from moving. I scraped off the residue and it works fine now. You might want to look into this or warn your customers. At first I thought it was broken.
Glock 20 Lb Recoil Spring
Very happy, he landed in his seat without any problems. I noticed it was not painted for the different springs and had a lock washer not shown in the picture. When I saw it I thought I would weigh it on my digital scale and it came out at 25.6 grams so I took the kit to work and weighed it on a digital paint scale and it came out the same weight at 25.6 not 28.3 as as advertised. Although I am very happy with the part that works flawlessly in my gun after several hundred rounds. I would highly recommend this upgrade.
Tti Glock Gen 4 / 5 Guide Rod Kit
Seems to fit well, haven't shot it yet, only reason for 4 stars was one comment earlier, they had a red lock on the end that goes into the frame, had to oil it up and get it working. some time before I felt a steady bounce. It seems to work fine manually now, but I'll try it tomorrow. If it works well, my review will be changed to 5 stars. Will drop from 4 if there is a problem
Moving up to 20 pounds of recoil spring on the .40 S&W G22 eliminates the high velocity slide against the frame and FTF that occurs when the light is mounted on a Gen 3 rail. These problems are caused by the inadequate 17-pound recoil spring shared with the 9mm G17. It also reduces the feeling of twitching. Adding weight and stiffness to the stainless steel guide is a nice bonus.
Very well made and seems to be made of quality material. It is better than the OEM Glock spring assembly and improved my custom G17 build.
I gained 17 pounds. "Competition Recoil Spring" for my Glock 17, Gen 4. It was cleaned and oiled and then loaded into my gun with no problems. Gen 4 requires an "adapter ring". When riding the Slide Assembly bike by hand, it felt like it was rubbing because I could feel and hear a slight grinding/rubbing. I then checked the slide, lower frame housing and barrel with no problems. The spring rubs along the guide.
Pistol Recoil Reduction Spring Rod Dpm Systems For Glock 20 Gen 4
I have fired over 100 rounds (medium powder charge). It worked flawlessly. Case throw was good, circular rise was great, and recoil seemed a little off.
Out of the bag, the pairs I checked were correct. Additionally, through tactical speed drills I was able to consistently hit targets quickly and make accurate shots (15 yards).
18lb stainless steel competition pusher for gen 3 G19... In my hands I can feel the difference/improvement in the overall balance of the 19. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
